An Invite to Santa Rosa Neighborhood Coalition's Candidates Forum Napa, California – We are excited to let you know about an event sponsored by the Santa Rosa Neighborhood Coalition. The invitation is directly from the Santa Rosa Neighborhood Coalition. You are cordially invited to attend. "I am very pleased to speak to the Progressives of Sonoma County,” Gentry said. “Their voice is part of ‘WE the people,’ and when I am elected, I will represent them along with all groups and all parties. I welcome hearing from the Coalition and I am looking forward to this night in Santa Rosa!” Below is the invitation as written by the Santa Rosa Neighborhood Coalition: ***********************************************************************
The Santa Rosa Neighborhood Coalition is hosting a forum featuring two candidates: Doris Gentry, Republican, and Kathryn Moore, Libertarian. Both were winners in the primary election. Why no Democrat? Michael Allen is being investigated by the FPPC for serious conflict-of-interest violations while serving on the Santa Rosa Planning Commission. The information regarding his alleged conflicts of interest can be viewed on our website. Under these circumstances we do not consider him to be a viable candidate for this office. We encourage everyone, including Democrats, to find out more about the other candidates running for 7th District Assembly. The forum will be held at 7PM on Thursday, September 16th in Santa Rosa. We are requiring an RSVP to reserve a seat. Space is limited. We will email the location to you approximately one week before the event. The district consists of all of Napa County, 37.23% of Sonoma County (including all of Santa Rosa and Roseland, and 7.07% of Larkfield-Wikiup) and 32.45% of Solano County (including Green Valley and Vallejo). If you’d like to attend, please respond to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it with the number of people in your party. We cannot sit back and wait for someone to rescue us—we have to rescue ourselves. We have to work together!” said Doris Gentry. Doris remembers an old story her grandma told her about a severe flood in which people were in crisis. “An old man climbed on his roof and said, ‘God, save me!’ A boat came by and the old man said, ‘NO, God will save me.’ Then a helicopter came and he said the same thing. The man died and in Heaven he said, ‘God, why didn’t you save me?’ God replied, ‘I sent you a boat and a helicopter, but you had to stand up, step up, and get aboard. That was your part!’” Here are two things you CAN do to make a difference.
